Anyone that is a fan of the National Geographic program "The Legend of Mick Dodge," would have enjoyed being with us for breakfast yesterday. Mick came and had breakfast at the inn with a few of his friends. It was very nice to have him join us and he even made the day of one of our former guests by talking to him on the telephone.
The weather continues to be warm, though we did have a little rain this week and more predicted for the weekend.
Lots of things are still to come this spring in the Forks area. Next weekend will be the annual QVSD Scholarship Auction. Always a lively time and a great fund raiser for the Forks High School graduates.
In April we will look forward to Rainfest and the opening of the new Arts Center.
Come take advantage of our beautiful spring weather and the events in the area.

Is It Spring?
Sunday was the first day of March and our lawn was mowed yesterday. The camelia bush is starting to bloom, the daffodils are up and the tulips are pushing their leaves through the soil. Yesterday evening, we finally got the primroses planted and the interior of the house is all decorated for St. Patrick's Day. It sure looks like spring is here, but we are not quite sure we should believe it, yet.
The annual scholarship auction will be her in a couple of weeks and we are looking forward to that. It is always a fun weekend.
