Pocket Edward is on vacation this week. He spent the weekend in Portland, Oregon and is now on his way to the SeaTac Airport to pick up innkeeper, Bill.

While in Portland, he took innkeeper Susan and her sister out to lunch at this charming pub. Edward is such a gentleman.

Cullen House Media Buzz

July 1, 2010

With the release of the new movie in the Twilight saga, "Eclipse", there has been fresh media attention for the town of Forks, WA. Our innkeepers have been interviewed by radio stations in Australia and Germany. They sat down with reporters and photographers from Germany, just yesterday and have done phone interviews as well. Our innkeeper, Bill was quoted in this article from Inc. Magazine: http://www.inc.com/articles/2010/06/business-in-forks.html

The Cullen House aka Miller Tree Inn was also featured in the LIFE section of the Friday, June 25, 2010 edition of USA Today.

The Gray Whales are In at LaPush!

March 18, 2009

Yesterday, the "Cullen House" innkeepers took a little trip to La Push. They stopped at Three Rivers Resort (the Treaty Line) and picked up burgers to take down to First Beach. While there, they saw lots of whale spouts and a few fins and tales. The whales are on their annual migration to the northern waters off the Alaska coast to feed during the summer months. On their way north, they stop at the mouth of the Quillayute River to frolic in the surf and scrape barnacles off their bodies. It is always fun to see them. A few of our guests were able to pick them out, too. Some are going back this evening.
