Valentine's Day

It is February and we heard that the groundhog saw its shadow, which means 6 more weeks of winter.  There is still time to brighten up your winter by spending a relaxing weekend at the Miller Tree Inn.  We currently have availability on all February weekends, including the long Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend.  Check out our availability calendar on our website at:  www.millertreeinn.com and start planning your winter get away today!

It is February in the "Twilight" Zone!

February 1, 2011

Tomorrow, Punxatawney Phil the ground hog will help us decide if there will be 6 more weeks of winter or if spring is just around the corner. We aren't sure what will happen on the east coast with the official ground hog, but in Forks, there are signs of spring everywhere. We have primroses and crocus coming up in the yard and a bouquet of pussy willows on Edward's practice piano. There are still rooms available for the weekends just before and just after Valentine's Day. We would love to have you join us at the Cullen House!

Happy Groundhog's Day from the Cullen House

February 2, 2010

All of us at the Cullen House would like to wish everyone a Happy Groundhog's Day. We heard that the official Pennsylvania Groundhog saw his shadow this morning. Any groundhog in Forks would also have seen his shadow today. We had a lovely February day that makes us think that spring is right around the corner. We put some new primroses out on the front porch and some cute little daffodils from local photographer, Cheryl Barth.

The Cullen Family Wishes You a Happy Ground Hog's Day

February 2, 2009

The Groundhog definitely DID NOT see his shadow in Forks today. It was wet, windy and overcast. A perfect day for vampires!
