From Which Country to Forks?

Saturday, June 25, 2011

We had guests from two different countries last night at the Miller Tree Inn. One family was from Sweden, and you can partially see their flag. The other two guests were from the country represented by this flag. Can you guess where they were from?

Also, this week Carlisle's Office was officially finished. We will get some pictures up from the office, soon. We are especially proud of the artwork on the walls. Bill did lots of research to come up with the pictures.

Miller Tree Inn Guests Finish Discovery Trail Walk

June 19, 2011

Last week we were visited by some frequent guests to the Miller Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast, Fred & Ann, who have walked the entire Discovery Trail between Port Townsend and Forks. They have walked and biked the trail in 10 mile sections over a period of a few weekends. Innkeeper Bill met them at Three Rivers Resort with some sparkling juice to help them celebrate the completion of the trail. Thanks Fred & Ann for sharing your experience with us.

June 3, 2011

Pocket Edward just returned from a trip to Victoria, BC where he stayed at the Abbeymoore Manor. The hosts there, always make him feel comfortable and at home. Even though Pocket Edward does not sleep, they made him up a wonderful bed. It was just what he needed to relax!

Thank You Captain Schultz

About 1 hour after we did our last post, we found out that our good friend and former innkeeper had lost her only child in Afghanistan. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Captain Joseph Schultz.
