It is raining in Forks today, so that must mean that our annual
Rainfest celebration is in full swing. There will be an umbrella parade at noon and tonight at 6:30 PM there is program scheduled on the topic of a Russian shipwreck from many years ago.
We have a group of Fiber Artists taking classes this weekend. They spent the day in
Neah Bay, yesterday looking at artifacts at the
Makah Cultural Center and helping the staff identify some tools that would have been used in weaving. They are being hosted by the
Quilleute Tribe tomorrow. This group of Fiber Artists have been spending the evenings taking in the Twilight movie saga in our common area.
There are also quilt making classes this weekend and a quilt show.
