Edward is back

January 28, 2009

After spending the night watching over guests in their rooms on Friday and Saturday nights, Edward reappeared at breakfast each morning in his apron, ready to serve guests. As you can imagine, he is very efficient.

Where are you going, Edward?

January 26, 2009

At least THREE life size cardboard Edwards were seen leaving the Miller Tree Inn over the weekend. They were all purchased at the new store in town, "Dazzled by Twilight." All of our guests on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 were in Forks because of "Twilight." We are pretty sure that everyone that stayed was part of "Team Edward."
On Saturday morning we came down to find Edward missing! He had spent the night watching over some guests in one of the rooms. Ahhh, Edward. Always the protector!

Edward Gives a Valentine Wreath to the Visitor's Center

Edward stopped in at the Visitor's Center in Forks to give the manager a heart shaped wreath to attach to Bella's truck. He thought it would be a great Valentine for Bella.

Another Sunny Day in Forks

The Cullen family have all gone to a darker, rainier place. Forks has just been too sunny for them the last few days. We were the "hot spot" in the state with a temperature of 62 degrees.

The Valentine decorations are up at the Miller Tree Inn (Cullen House) and Edward has made some Valentines. They are available to our overnight "Twilight" guests and they are also available at the front door of the inn for $2.25 each.

Snowshoe Hiking

More snowfall yesterday proved to be irresistible to the Cullens. They are taking advantage of it by going for a snowshoe hike in the Olympic Mountains.

It is Sparkling Weather Today

Brrr, it is about 35 degrees and COLD. The sun is out, so the Cullens are in. They don't want to draw attention to themselves by sparkling!

The elk must know that the Cullens won't be coming out today. They were seen in our front yard munching on the tree branches. The herd completely surrounded the car of one of our guests.
